Etruria SMA, together with Di.Tech, implements the radio frequency system. Then, after the replacement of the fruit and vegetable warehouse terminals, it decides to introduce voice technology.
The role of vo-CE
In the fruit and vegetable area, it launches the Di.Vo system, Di.Tech’s voice picking software fully integrated with vo-ce. The success of the project prompts the company to introduce innovation in the fresh and dairy warehouse as well. The Di.Vo system is then grafted inside the traditional WMS, introduced through the HX2 LXE terminals. The solution is particularly suitable for handling variable weight. The terminals, which are robust and suitable for use at low temperatures, are equipped with a headset, microphone and digital wearable scanner reader that ensures correct picking. The Company plans to extend the solution into the miscellaneous goods area as well.
