The Ce.Di of Sisa Sardegna in Codrongianos wants on the one hand to reduce errors made during picking and logistics costs, and on the other hand to improve the performance of operators, the quality of their work, and the operativeness of dispatchers. Mirano-based 2M Servizi, whose SIDA management solution is in use by all the Group’s Ce.Di, had already implemented the vo-ce solution at Ce.Di. Sisa Calabria, with excellent results.

The role of vo-CE

The WMS, an integral part of the SIDA management solution, is not detached from the rest of the business departments and acts on the HX2 LXE client, worn by the preparer, via a terminal emulator that connects the UNIX server on which it operates with the vo-ce application. All of the dialogue is viewable online, so that the complete history of the retrieval process, with all the steps, can be reviewed immediately. Jokes are inserted in the first few weeks at the completion of each mission, so as to eliminate technology shock and build human/machine fellowship.
