Zeta Farmaceutici Spa of Sandrigo (VI) is a solid industrial reality 100% made in Italy. Over time, it has won over more and more consumers and is now the second largest Italian company in pharmacy cosmetics. It already uses radio frequency, but wants to reduce the error rate in the preparation of orders of decorative products such as lipsticks and mascaras and optimize the preparation of shipments of finished products.
The role of vo-CE
RCP Elettronica, their supplier of radio frequency devices, raises the prospect of implementing voice technology on Datalogic’s mobile computers. Feasibility analysis and testing with software from different manufacturers begins immediately. The choice falls on vo-ce, on the strength of its usability on different data capture technologies: laser scanning (barcode, r d, imager), keyboard data entry and voice. The terminals are multimodal: they can be used in “traditional” laser scanning sessions, in voice-only sessions, and in “hybrid” sessions, which require both barcode or tag reading and the use of voice commands.
